| CIRCLE OF FRIENDS TEA |

On February 16, 2013 our Circle of Friends “Black &
White Affair Tea” was held at the Auburn United
Methodist Church.
Guests are treated to a light luncheon complete with
delicious, home-made, individual desserts. Back by
popular demand was a Fashion Show by Essentials &
Frosting and Lyn Maree’s. Guests enjoyed the sneak peak
at the new spring fashions.
Limited tickets are available and this event is usually
a sell-out. Opportunities for table hostesses and table
sponsorships are available for this wonderful
afternoon. To obtain more information and/or be sure to

| HOG JOG, HOG ROAST AND BENEFIT AUCTIONS |
|
The
9th Annual Hog Roast and Benefit Auctions, the largest
fundraiser for the clinic, will be held on Saturday,
September 14, 2013. The day will begin with our
Annual 5K Hog Jog.
The walk/run event will begin with registration at 9am
and the race at 10 am. Last year over 100 walkers and
runners participated. Following the race, a Hog Roast
lunch complete with all the fixin’s, desserts and drinks
are served. All desserts are made and donated by various
church ladies with extras available for sale in the bake
sale tent.
The Live and Silent Benefit Auctions are a big hit and
features our Community Quilt with quilt squares donated
by community members. The quilt is pieced together by
the Quilting Ladies at St. Michael's Church. Our "Cow
Pie Bingo" is always fun. Bingo squares are available
for $10 each. The square that gets the first "deposit"
is the winner.
Last year, our lucky winner received a delicious meat
package from I.Q. Meats in Butler!! Please check back

SWINGIN’ FOR ST. MARTIN’S GOLF BENEFIT |
The
5th Annual "Swingin' for St. Martin's" Golf Benefit is
slated for held Saturday, August 3, 2013 at the
beautiful Garrett Country Club. Registration begins at
7 am and tee off at 8am.
The day includes a team of 4 and 18 holes of golf, a
cart, 2 drink tickets, lunch, and a free gift for each
golfer. Last year, over $20,000 was raised so that
uninsured residents of DeKalb County will continue to
have access to healthcare. Several events are on the
course with lots of fun to be had!!
Team registration form and brochure will be available
after June 15 and can be downloaded and returned to St.
Martin's Healthcare. The field will close when 36 teams
are reached.

RAISE THE ROOF |
New
this year, was our Raise the Roof evening with the
Indianapolis Colts Cheerleaders and local band Choice on
April 13, 2013 at the Auburn American Legion.

It was a
great evening enjoyed by nearly 200 guests while raising
money for much needed capital improvements to St.
Martin’s Healthcare. Guests enjoyed playing Heads or
Tails with the winner taking home a 32” HDTV flat screen
TV.
The highlight of the evening was a performance by
band member, Mike Littlejohn impersonating 1980’s Sylvia
with his version of “Nobody”. Watch for more
information on a repeat event in 2014. |
